Dhikala zone

Dhikala forest lodge is run and managed by forest department under Corbett national park, it is located in the core area of Corbett national park. The entry gate for Dhikala is Dhangadi gate. You have to show your permits to forest guards here at this point.Dhikala is the most well known of the destinations in Corbett. It is located at the edge of the broad Patli Dun valley through which the Ramganga flows in numerous channels. Dhikala offers an awesome uninterrupted panoramic view of the valley, with the Kanda ridge in the backdrop. This sight appears all the more imposing from the watchtower near Dhikala.

Bijrani zone

Bijrani being one of the 3 zones was once a shooting block having crossing jungle roads. This place is apt for tiger sighting. Located on the eastern side of the of the Corbett national park, Bijrani house a wide variety of flora which includes of pure Sal forests on the upper reaches and tropical moist, deciduous mixed forests in the valley and plains.

Jhirna zone

Jhirna zone

Jhirna is located on the southern periphery of Corbett Tiger Reserve. It is one of the man animal conflict zone years ago. Jhirna was one of the three villages which have been relocated to other places for the sake of the conflict.This rest house lies just inside the southern boundary of the Park. The rest house lies on the road from Ramnagar to Kalagarh that runs in an east-west direction through the Park. The landscape is drier than in Dhikala and vegetation is mostly scrub.

This zone is equally rich in flora and fauna. The area, around 1,173 hectares in Dhela, has Rohini, Haldu, Bahera, Kusum vegetation, and tigers, leopards, sloth bears and king cobras. A trip to Corbett National Park is going to be more exciting and full of thrilling as the forest department of Uttarakhand has decided to open another tourism zone named as DHELA, will be the fifth tourisms zone inside the Corbett National Park.

Durga Devi is an attractive and verdant tourism zone falling within Corbett National Park range. It is wildlife area, exceptionally used for long elephant safaris and makes direct access to the Ramganga River, where tourists can enjoy fishing and angling. While making your staycool and comfortable at the Durgadevi, the tourists will get the opportunity to go to Ramganga River to enjoy angling facilities at the Ramganga camp at Bhikiasen crossing the gate further 30 KMs in the pristine pool in the Ramganga River. The Durgadevi tourism zone is closed during monsoon due to poor roads in the forest.

Corbett National Park Landscape

Mountains Corbett Landscape is newly opened tourist spot of Reserve Forest. This zone is under of Reserve Forest Department. It means Jungle’s rule regulation will be apply in this zone. Only permitted vehicles can take a wild trek inside the forest. There is a famous temple dedicated to lord Shiva and a beautiful river. Corbett Landscape is a very beautiful, peaceful and attractive place of Reserve Forest. In safari you can see here Tigers, Leopards, Elephants, Dears, Jackal, Wild Boar many other animals but its depend on your beautiful luck.This zone is very famous amongst bird watchers specially Vulture lovers.
